🔧 Happy Maintenance Worker Day! 🔧

Today we celebrate the hardworking men who keep everything running behind the scenes at Red Lick ISD. From fixing problems before anyone even notices them to making sure our campuses are safe, clean, mowed, and ready for students each day — these guys do it all.

Your dedication, skill, and pride in your work make a difference for every student and staff member on our campus. We appreciate the long hours, the quick fixes, and the countless things you do that often go unseen.

👏 Thank you for everything you do for the Red Lick Mustangs!

🤖 Red Lick Robotics: On a Winning Streak! 🏆 Our Red Lick Robotics teams have been busy proving that size and age don't matter when it comes to engineering and innovation! 📍 Recapping the "Terrell has Heart" VEX Competition On February 13, our VEX teams headed to Terrell, TX to face some serious competition—including several high school teams! Our students rose to the challenge: Finals Bound: BOTH teams successfully fought their way into that day's finals bracket! The Judge’s Award: After a hard loss in first round of the finals, the team Overload (Nolan Dumas, Ezra Dawson, Jett King, and Austin Taylor) was honored with the Judge’s Award. Semifinal Surge: Our second team "the Ducklings" (Everett DeGroot, Max Sowell, and Levi Yelverton) powered through to the semifinals, falling to the high school team that eventually won the entire event! 🎟️ Next Stop: State Championships! Thanks to their performance in the VEX "Skills" challenge, the Duckling received an invitation to the Region 2 State Championships! They will be representing Red Lick this Saturday in Trenton, TX. 📦 Warehouse Warriors Heading to Clarksville But what about the rest of Red Lick Robotics? This Friday, March 6, we have three TYRA robotics teams, comprised of 6th and 7th graders, traveling to Clarksville for the TCEA Warehouse Warriors competition. For most of these students, this is their first-ever robotics competition and will kick off their Warehouse Warriors competition season. Join us in wishing all of our innovators good luck this weekend!
