Volleyball games scheduled for Monday, 10/20 will be played at RED LICK. Originally the game was scheduled to be played away, but we had to move the games to Red Lick. This will be the LAST home games of the season, so come out and support the girls in their last regular season games of the year. B team intersquad will begin at 4:30pm with 7A and 8A to follow.

Red Lick ISD is excited to announce the new addition of Mrs. Mendy Sharp as our Chief Academic and Operations Officer for the district. Mrs. Sharp comes to the district from Texarkana College. Before she worked at TC, Mrs. Sharp was the high school principal at Pleasant Grove ISD and also worked at their central office. Mrs. Sharp brings a wealth of knowledge and she will enhance the district's pursuit of excellence. Please take a moment and welcome her to "the Herd!" #theHerd

During the fourth and fifth periods, sixth-grade math students began an introductory unit on the addition and subtraction of integers. Using two-sided counters as a manipulative, students modeled integer operations and discovered the concept of zero pairs through this hands-on process.

Due to a lack of interest, Red Lick Battle Stangs will not be hosting Madden tryouts on Wednesday, September 10. All other tryouts will continue as scheduled.

Red Lick travels to North Lamar to compete in a double header against North Lamar and Chapel Hill. Games are at 5:15 and 6:30. Go Mustangs!

Last night, the Red Lick Board of Trustees held their August meeting. Dustin Myrtle was "officially" sworn in as Chief of Police and presented his badge. #theHerd

Your Mustangs and Lady Mustangs are traveling today to compete in their respective sports. The Mustangs open up the 2025 baseball against Chapel Hill and the Lady Mustangs are traveling up the road to take on the Maud Cardinals. GO MUSTANGS! #theHERD

There is a mandatory parent meeting for parents of middle school students wanting to tryout for the Esports team.

It's opening night for the Lady Mustang Volleyball teams! Come out and support them as they take on the Pirates of James Bowie. The intersquad match starts at 4:30pm. The 7th grade A team takes on the pirates at 5pm with the 8th grade to start immediately following the 7th grade game. #theHerd

Today the staffers took over! Second year yearbook staff took time to teach their classmates about different aspects of the camera. First year staffers learned how to turn on and off the camera, learned about the different camera settings, learned about the different equipment involved in photography, and learned how to change our lenses. All this from a group of their peers.

Due to high demand, the deadline has been extended to August 27th to give everyone ample time to order.
