7th and 8th graders have had a fun science week. They had "Cobra Weave" and Cup Tower contests, compared Mentos and various soda reactions, observed can crushing as a result of rapid changes in air pressure, and watched the effect of Carbon Dioxide gas on a flame.
Mr. Rankin's 5th and 6th grade students recently had an unforgettable experience watching chicks hatch right in their classroom. As part of their science unit on life cycles, they were able to observe the process up close—from eggs to fluffy hatchlings. It was a fun and educational way to bring science to life

Last Thursday, the Red Lick Booster Club held our first ever "Hay for the Herd" game presented by Guaranty Bank and Trust and it was a huge success! Cash is the Guaratny Bank and Trust mascot and cheered on the Mustangs with the cheerleaders throughout the night. Cooper Swanson won tonight’s prize because his buddy, Eli Rankin tossed his Hay bale into the winner’s circle. The Red Lick Booster Club will be hosting the “Hay for the Herd” for the remaining home games.
