Previously, I have been to many educational conferences as a Student Council sponsor as well as a Builders Club Sponsor. I enjoy working within the community, and both of these programs have allowed me great experiences!
This is my second year teaching in Red Lick ISD. I love teaching, and I am so blessed that God has allowed me to be in the classroom!
Previously, I taught at Texas Middle School for nine years, and I also taught at Liberty Eylau Middle School for four years. I have taught writing, reading, language arts, English, and technology. I have taught grades 6th-8th.
I am blessed with a wonderful family! I am married to a Godly man, Greg Brush, and we have three daughters (Carrigan, Bella Marie, and Brynlee) and one son (Lincoln). My two oldest daughters attend school in Red Lick. In addition, our family has a sweet dog named Roxxy Perle, and we have about 25 chickens! I lead a very busy home life with all of my children, and I love every bit of it. We spend a lot of time at soccer games and dance recitals!
In the evenings and on weekends, I love to be outside with my family. We have a large garden and many chickens. In addition, my parents live next to us, so we participate in fun family activitiies all the time. In my quiet time, I love to read. I truly love mystery novels. My family and I attend Buchanan First Baptist Church where my husband and I are the Children's Camp Ministry leaders, and I am the Children's Church leader. We love our church family, and we enjoy many with activities with them.
