Educational History:

I graduated High School from Pleasant Grove in 2003. I then went on to attend Texarkana College and graduated from Texas A&M University Texarkana in May of 2007.

Degrees and Certifications:

I graduated Texas A&M University Texarkana with a bachelor degree in Science and Interdisciplinary Studies 4-8. I am certified to teach Science in grades 4-8 and also have a certificate to teach science in grades 7-12. 

Professional Development:

  • 6 hours GT training in Google Apps for Educators
  • Dylexia 101
  • Conference for the Advancement of Science Teachers
  • Member of the Texas Regional Collaborative for science teachers
  • First Aide/ CPR / AED training 2016

Current Position:

I started teaching at Red Lick in 2011. This year will be my 6th year at Red Lick. I currently teach 7th grade science, 8th grade science & IPC, and robotics. 

Previous Position:

I started teaching in 2007. I taught 8th grade science/IPC for 3 years at Texas Middle School and taught science one year in 7th grade before coming to Red Lick.
